brake pad warning

brakes were checked out after a brake pad warning appearred and deemed to be ok, yet warning is still on. complete new, discs, pads, shoes rear 4 mths ago. front pads have been on 18 mths but are hardly worn, could it be a sensor,? :-/

Could be - try unplugging one at a time and shorting out pins in socket to check sensors.

afterthought , i replaced the rear springs not so long ago & i wonder if i over stretched a wire.  :-/ .

No pad sensors on the rear, just two on the front of yours Ray.

more than likely a duff or broken sensor  :y
do as suggested and unplug each sensor in turn and short out the pins you will then know whether it is just one sensor or both  :y

you get a pretty good idea if it's goosed just by looking at it.  ;)
