Minor but anoying climate control glitch
« on: 12 May 2011, 12:49:44 »

This morning I took my Omega to get the air conditioning system re-gassed.  all seemed to be fine but since getting the car back the temperature controllers are no longer linked.

It used to be that if you changed the drivers side the passenger side changed as well.  not any more and they don't come into sync when restarting the engine as before either.

Done the system reset suggested in the manual (hold auto and off for 5 seconds) but that hasn't fixed it.

Other than the controllers not being in sync everything else is fine.

Any one else suffered from this and if so how did you fix it?

they resync once the car has been off for an hour iirc, set them to the same, turn off, and once you restart and hour or so later they should both go together.

Facelift - just press either temp knob on the climate panel

Prefacelift - leav car switched off for 40mins (I think)

Thank you.  Patience was never my strong point.  All working fine now.
