« on: 22 June 2011, 00:05:19 »

i have a F/l and when i lock it it makes no noise(apart from the heavy locks!) is the security system suppose to make any noise and how would i test that? i.e: if some basterd was trying to get away with my billy ray cyryss cd's ;D how would it would let me know? i'm pretty sure the fire starter has been removed as i looked for it and only found a plug but is there no main horn?

It doesn't beep or anything if that's what you mean.

There is a red light on the dash though to show it's armed.

The test Jimbob suggests is worth doing if you want to understand it, as is leaving a window open and waving your hand through it after a delay.
