I have been offered a bootlid in silver which appears to be the right colour, can I have some opinions on the colour match please?

totally different lighting condtions

do you know the reg of the car it came off?

give me both reg's and I can check if they left the factory roughly the same colour.

I don't have the reg, the photo of the bootlid was taken by the guy I am buying it from. I will ask him for the reg

The reg of the car the bootid came from is he thinks KG 52 EOY.

His is 2AU, which is also Z157, or star silver III

and yours is 82L / Z147 - Star Silver II Met

I beleive althouh different, most would be hard pressed to tell the difference.
