Blaupunkt changer keeps ejecting after 2min!

No matter what CD I'm on - all load correctly then out of nowhere a few mins down the motorway, the display says 'EJECT-CD' and I'm stuck with Chris bleedin Moyles or Scott mincer Mills!! Its driving me up the wall anyone know what this is?

Incidentally most of my CDs are CDRs...I buy vinyl as a rule.

My Blaupunkt isn't very comfortable with CDRs at all.

I gave up in the end and bought some originals.

But then I like Moyles and Mills so it's all good !!

Back to the same old argument that the Blaupunkt changers are NOT CDR/RW compatable.

please dont all now post saying that yours plays them - tey were never designed to, and if yours plays then good for you. This argument has been done to death in previous threads.

How on earth do you use vinyl as a rule, its round with no markings?

rule's are  normally plastic with cm's on once side, inches on the other

Hahaha you funny gets!! I like a good banter on a thread.

Just to put that CDR thing to bed it did it with a mag of normal CDs too, arghhhhh

BTW I like Moyles really, those dulcit zippy like tones   :o

YOU COULD GET A VW VINYL HEAD UNIT?? Might whack one in my golf, hehe. Would be great over the speed humps, 50 quid a week on styli..f**k it I'll stick me Technics in the Omega boot and get me one of those disco LED bulbs for the light fitting! AVE IT!

So, back onto the changer then I spose...is it shagged or can I give it an overhaul? Just got the car and don't really wanna rip the stereo out if I don't have to. Got an Aldi special Bluetooth head unit if all else fails...after all I'm struggling for boot space, that changer will make all the difference  ;D

EDIT: Head unit, wake up man...bet it took a seat space
