Engine change omega b2 facelift.

Hello
I am going to set inn a y32se in my omega 2000 model.
Change from y22xe 2000model to y32se ?? what i need to change ecu++

ecu and a new wiring loom and the heater matrix is different you will also need a r28 transmission box and possibly a different final drive unit

i think!!!
Do i really need wiring loom ? i get a ar35 so that is ok.and the most of the cooling i maybe change ??

Immobiliser will need recoding, as will gearbox ECU.  Different ABS ECU required...

The immobiliser and keys will have to come from 3.2 donor car, else will need recoding.

ABS ecu is bolted to ABS unit.

Ok-i have Simtec today and 3,2 has Motronic so do i need to change wiring inside the car ? :-?

I wouldn't say so? Does the 3.2 have different speedo/rev counter though?

I know it has speed-sensitive steering which the 2.2 doesn't.

Totally agree here, this is a bit "pushing warm $hit uphill with a sharp stick" really.

Surely if you can get the parts from Germany, you can get the car from Germany. :-/ :-/ :-/

Yup! Saw plenty when i was there.... infact anyware in mainland Europe has them.

Maybe but the car is already in parts and bye a car from Germany 3,2l and change parts or bye a car and use you think i shall do ?
i already have a great omega....cost me a lot... :)
