SideLight Bulb
« on: 31 October 2008, 16:28:49 »

How exctly do you get to the back to the headling unit to change the sidelight bulbs. I followed the instructions in the handbook.......it says to remove the plastic cover over the top of the light then change the bulbs from behind. Well i really cant see how i can actually get to the back of the lights as theres just no room. i was thinking to remove the light from the car.....how is this done? I could only see 2 8mm bolts, but this cant be the only bolts holding the light to the car??  I have facelife and HID btw.

It is possible, but tight. If nearside, may be worth just pusshing battery back a shade.

There is another bolt underneath, you need to remove the surroound under light to see it.

never had a problem

Bit of plastic off the top - use a key or 2p etc to remove the plastic screw

pull rubber protector of rear of light

pull out sidelight bumb, replace etc.
