Dsconnect the pin that Vauxhall use as SDVC - I suspect your stereo uses that pin for something else and is dragging it high or low

I don't know if it helps but the ISO Block is as follows:

Top 8 pins relate to the 4 speakers.

Bottom 8 pins are GND, Batt+, Acc, PRK SW, P.12v out, P.GND, Reverse and Ant. Cont

Thanks, can I just remove the pin from the block and wrap in insulating tape or should I just snip the wire?

I always use a traffic master or similar loom to make all mods on, so I don't have to butcher the car's loom.

eg http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/CAR-RADIO-STEREO-ISO-EXTENSION-WIRING-HARNESS-16-PIN_W0QQitemZ370054744340QQcmdZViewItemQQptZUK_Cars_Parts_Vehicles_Terminals_Cabling_ET?hash=item370054744340&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14&_trkparms=72%3A1301%7C66%3A2%7C65%3A12%7C39%3A1%7C240%3A1318

If you go down this route, ensure the adapter you get is suitable first, and has all the pins you need populated.

But to answer your Q, you can remove the pin, but it has a 1-way tag that may get damaged.
