ECU update....maybe.
« on: 08 March 2010, 14:56:44 »

Have read threads about an Ecu update for the auto box and climate control, thinking that it would give me some idea if anything else is wrong too.
Is there anybody relatively close to me who could do this, and if so, how much??
James...........can you add this to your list of "can you do's????" for me?

cheers fellers........Mike.

Assume yours is a late prefacelift, in which case, climate update not worthwhile.

Gearbox is imho

Hi,

I'd be interested too, I have a 3.0 MV6 on a 1999 mini facelift, what about the lastest running program for the engine ecu too please?  I'm also interested in the autobox.

I have opelscanner, but obviously can't update it through this!

Any help or anyone willing to help would be much appreciated!

Cheers

That's the one. Clarkson showed it at the end of one of his videos and they've had one in the Top Gear studio. I'm just short of the £20odd thousand to buy one :-? ;)

as Andy says, smoother changes, no more 'surging' around 50mph, downshifts were a lot smoother. Well worth the update  :y
