Why not LED's? Just out of interest.

Omega was designed for bulbs.  It makes etensive use of lightguides to illuminate the dash and climate panels.  As the lightguides were made for use with bulbs, they cannot deal with the very narrow output angle of LEDs, particularly blue and white 'ultrabrite' types.

The end result is a 'blotchy' backlighting, MIDs you cannot read during the day, and if you use ultrabrites (which all blue are) on switches, they burn your retinas out, and distract like crazy.

As for a desire to have blue LEDs everywhere, I'm saying nothing  :-X. Zilch  :-X.  Anyone even beginning to provoke me into a response, its entrapment, and therefore doesn't count.....
