rather idiots.  Both types are paper element!

There are 2 types - one for the metal capped filter, one for the plastic capped one.

Look at oil filter housing, if its got a metal cap with a 13mm bolt holding it on, its the earlier type.  If its the black plastic one needing a 36mm socket to undo, its the later type.
