Only if you married one and not the other. :) :) :)

We are all still great pals!

I even got called out to do an AA impersonation on his car.    Reversing + deep pothole = exhaust ripped off all it's mountings.

A quick emergcency repair with whatever was in my boot. Small piece of rope and 4 tiewraps later and his car made the 2 mile drive home in order for it to go to a garage tomorrow.

Pretty chuffed with myself, especially as I am not a mechanic, I just tinker.

Currently rewarding myself with a small 16 y.o scotch. :)

Now I am worried. :y :y :y

The normal call is two fingers.....

The major trick is to ensure that a) both are on the same hand and b) next to each other......

I'm on Grants Sherry cask el cheapo at £8 a bottle at the moment....  Great, as far as cooking whiskies go!!   ;D

That's cheap, day to day and diluted I use Tesco's blended, it is not as bad as it sounds.  :)
I will have to look out for that one though, must be better, where did you get it? SWMBO has jsut looked and passed a SAD comment, on her way to bed.  :y :y

Well, I didnt want to seem like a alcoholic, but in my house, a small glass is a pint tumbler. ;D

Yes Broocie, I know, two fingers is the min.

(I am referring to whisky for all you dafties)

I am partaking in Buchanans red label. Lovely blend.

I work for one of the biggest drinks companies, so favourable prices are abound. :y

Expensive scotch becomes cheap scotch.

I was thinking about bringing a couple of bottles to the Jock weekend meet, does that seem too much?

My recently departed Father in law used to keep his really cheap Scotch in the fridge so it was chilled to withing a gnats hair of freezing.  Really made the undrinkable drinkable, as it were!!   ;D

I was in there on Saturday, must check glasses, when I take a closer look, this week I am on the Morrisons stuff.
They did some good deals just before christmas on Bells, I was almost
embarrassed, I say almost, at the state of our trolley, did buy a bottle of gin as well though.  :D :D :D

I'll bring you a nice scotch to the meet if you wish Broocie.

If I'm drinking with you, dont expect to leave with much left in the bottle. :D Hic

The company I work for own; Johnnie Walker, Bells, Buchanans, Smirnoff, Talisker, Lagavulin, Gordons, Capitain Morgans, Cragganmore....(breathe)....and a whole load more.

The breadknife works for Morrisons, so we get the already cheap booze + staff discount. :D

I wonder why we are always out or having parties? ;D
