Hi lads aint been around for Yonks
P.S. mine has been going off usually sunrise I saw the one re bonnet switch and disconnected it PS didnt sound off for a couple of weeks then again early morn.
I think I have found the problem on mine mine is a Tourer  and the rear side windows are alarmed two push on electrical connectors on each side the n/s one and the side the sun rises, the claw part of the plug had detached and was still clamped to the circuit terminal on the glass this connector is similar to a 9volt batt connector this connector was tight loose when I checked it the other connector was tight .anyway I disconnected both wires and the alarm has.nt pissed off the neighbours this last couple of mornings  will be calling into Vauxhall for a new bit of loom tomorrow
Another day it aint gone off

I have just replaced the batteries in my PS with the three leg NiMH batteries mentioned in earlier posts.  A bit of leakage from the old batteries doesn't appear to have affected it.  Although there are two batteries they appear to be connected in series supplying 7.2V onto the PS circuit board

Make sure the board is cleaned of any residue before fitting and ideally spray on a conformal coating or a bit of lacquer. When damp gets to it it might start playing up again otherwise. :y
