fuse blown :(

the fuse for the interior lights in blown,
guess that also also affect the boot light and the driver seat ??

cuz all of that dont work now,

anyone know which fuse to change ??

and how many to change ??

( you can see which car I have from the left )

ok and another thing,

Am I supposed to check the fuses while engine running or not ??

and are all fuses supposed to work ?

cause last time I checked them, there were many of them not working so I thought maybe it's meant to be like that and I shouldnt be meddling with them,
I thought maybe they work according to when being used or something,

so if anybody could clarify me there things it would be very helpful

definately do not check fuses with engine on or with the keys in at all ... you will blow them every time.

I always check fuses with the ignition on? Isn't that what the two little holes on top of the fuses are for? So you can touch an electrical tester on them and check for voltage?

would it not be better to take the fuse out completely to check so that when you replace it you push it all the way back in ? thus ensuring a snug fit and checking for loose fitting at the same time ?

the hole in top of fuse is so you can see if blow and that depend on if it has blow the right way as some only go at one end and may not notice
you should not have inition on ever as can cause other problems as well best pull fuses look at them and see if ther is a break in them and replace as neede
and as for ones working or not system will only put power on them when need  like likte when light are on  and same for any thing like that

Yes, that is the best way to do it but it can be very time consuming, pulling out 40 odd fuses to give each one a visual inspection.
I started to learn what little I know about car electrics by fitting stereos at the age of 12, I used to quickly touch the wires to earth to identify the live...

Shorten to earth is the wrong way it's better to check with a meter or lamp. Don't need to get every one out there's a user manual details the use of a fuse. so just check the relevent one

Hence well practiced at checking fuses.  ;)

Why not have a look at the wiring diagrams. They will tell you which fuse you need to check.
