Done
There is no "justice" in the UK anymore.

Mike

P.S. I would have done the same, and run him over, although now thinking about it if it does ever happen to me I will make sure the scum is dead.

Done, this is an absolute travesty and while he may have deserved some very lenient punishment, possibly a 12 month good behaviour probation.

He does NOT, deserve the sentence he was given and I can honestly say that when I have my own family and if confronted with the situation that Stephen was, I wouldn't imagine doing anything different.

My heart goes out to Stephen and his family and wish them the best of luck getting this problem resolved post haste.

This is crazy, no proper justice at all. It also appears that the thug is still walking about, near where Mrs Armstrong and her kids live, as she is a witness to his actions. With all due respect, I don't feel the Police are doing their job if they allow someone like this within 100 miles of this lady and her family. What happens if he breaks in and stabs her. Or will our system of law and order bolt the door after the horse has gone, again?

With all due respect Ken this is not down to the Police, it is down to our judges and lawmakers. The Police only enforce the law, not make it.
By the way I have no connection with the Police. Unfortunatly on my wife's family side we have a barrister and a judge. They are so overpaid and live in an area full of other wealthy people that they have absolutly no idea of the real world and what goes on. I have personally witnessed how they live, it is totally different to mere mortals like me.
Sour grapes on my behalf ? maybe but they don't want for a single thing.

I know, its not the Police, I bet they feel fustrated sometimes the way their hands are tied, when they see some little s**t doing something and they can't do anything about it. But what happens if this lady gets knifed, and her kids loose both parents ?. It seems as if there is nothing we can do, our system is powerless to defend those in greatest need.
