I beleive any identical plugged one will fit, but the computer functions wont be accurate unless you have it recoded to the config of your vehicle.

where are you based?  you need a tech2 session, there are a few on here may be able to help.

LCDs use super thin metal tracks (so thin that light passes through) laid on the glass to provide the electrical connections to the display elements. The LCD is clamped against a rubber strip with alternate layers of insulating rubber and conductive rubber to provide the connections to the main pcb.

When the conducting tracks on the glass deteriorate it is often possible to move the LCD slightly to remake the contact but the damage has already been done. :( Any display with the correct plugs to fit your car is going to be over 10 years old so you are unlikely to find a good second hand one  :(

I have read that the LCDs used in facelift cars last better  :y but have different plugs :(

It might be possible to graft some facelift plugs into a pre-facelift car to allow one of the later (more reliable) displays to fit but it you will need the expertise of one of the OOF gurus to confirm if this is possible.........
