Would you like cheaper DVD's
« on: 28 February 2008, 20:00:12 »

Just click the link, type in your DVD player details & nine times outa ten it'll have the region unlock code for your player.
I've just done mine & now i can buy cheaper DVD's from the states etc. For instance, Heroes boxset is found in Asda for just under £40.00, but you can get it cheaper from the USA for £23.00 delivered & it's all legal, retailers can't sell you region 1 DVD's, but you can buy them from where you like :y

I got hit for an import bill once..

Die Hard box set, when it was said the box set would never be available in the UK as the rights were owned by different companies.

Had to pay about £20 out in customs and post office fees

saying that I used to buy a load from the states (well canada)
but cant really be bothered any more.

Other plus points is the American versions were often less cut, and had more extra features on the disks.
