problem with nicotine is it has an evil molecular structure similiar to morphine, eroine and others .. all are alkoloid class and directly stick to brain neurons.. and they make you want them.. some years ago one doctor from israel was successful to block those neurons (by a chemical) so whatever you smoke/drink you cant feel it.. and the method worked but never seen any application around.. :-\

so you have to fight yourself..good luck :y

they're not good the US FDA did a study on them its available online and what they contain inst good! id avoid them myself iirc they found traces of rat poison amongst other things and also noted manufacturing practices were poor

so far the best methods I have recorded from friends (so I wanted to share may be they can help)

* stay away from all kinds of hot curries
* stay away from alcohol (they make you want more cigarettes)
* drinking lots of water helps
* no oily food
* no coffee or tea
* eat bitter chocolate and lots of fruit
* making daily exercise (running etc) keeps you away from them for some time
* first 72 hours critical

I've started smoking roll ups so smoke less now and saves me about 30 quid a week. maybe i will be able to stop soon i don't know. not tryin at the moment as im not working so takes away the boredom a bit.  patches and chewing gum make me sick so have to resort to willpower. i managed to quit my sex addiction so should manage fags   ::) ;D

I was using one a couple of years ago and went from 20/day to 4/day virtually overnight :y :y

The secret is getting a known brand and I found the Vanilla flavoured syrup better ;)

Actually, I'll be digging it out again soon because I want to give up soon :y

I tried some about 6 months back, whilst I was working within a controlled Control Room environment with no smoking areas outside, must admit it worked for me, needed a real one now and then, and was surprised how well the menthol versions did what they said on the box. biggest problem for me was the battery life (usb rechargeable) as the seem to wake up and kill the battery whilst in your pocket whilst walking to and from the job.

be careful theyre full of rubbish and a tiny amount of nicotine smoking's bad but them e cigs are highly dangerous you should really look up the FDA research! Zyban & Champonix should be banned by the EU soon enough as the suicide rate with these drugs globally is beggars belief theyre used to treat schizophrenics

Don't be such a scare monger ;) Yes, there are a load that were full of crap. Equally, there are plenty of quality ones that aren't. You just have to make sure you buy a genuine, quality one and not a cheap knock off :y

* stay away from all kinds of hot curries - Cant do that.
* stay away from alcohol (they make you want more cigarettes) - Definitely cant do that
* drinking lots of water helps – Cant do that, too much alcohol in the system.
* no oily food – Need me fried breakies Cem
* no coffee or tea – Body wont function without gallons of Tea.
* eat bitter chocolate and lots of fruit – Don’t eat chocolate, some fruit.
* making daily exercise (running etc) keeps you away from them for some time –
Normally end running for buses with a fag in my mouth on the way to the Pub.
* first 72 hours critical – Normally stop smoking when Im asleep, so if I crash for 72 hours in bed I’ll be fine, I can do that.

Sorry Cem, couldn’t resist, pretty says my lifestyle.
