timing belt.
« on: 07 October 2011, 00:36:13 »

eh guys assistance needed please.

replaced exjisting belt timing belt on 2.0 but found tensioner not tightening and deflection is excessive.  Only done between 15k and 20k miles (will check).

Would belt need changing? and therefore tensioner ok.

I thought tensioner may be damaged.

what are your thoughts please people?

There is a "tab" on the water pump that needs to go into its position
