Just ordered a pair, along with a set of rear Boge coil springs  :)

Very helpful, got good price on springs, less what I paid last time from a Vauxhall "specialist"

Very happy  :)

Surprised nobody countered with... Lemforders aren't worth the money...  ::)
Fed up with saying it TBH ;) ;)

Although I may well go down that route too, but mine will be poly'd straight away ::)
if it wasn't for curry, so would Tunnie. ;)
To be fair, unless his driving style changes dramatically when he starts driving it, he probably doesn't need Polys ::)
Remain unconvinced that driving style has any bearing on bush longevity TBH  :-\

I also think a quality new rubber bush, correctly fitted, should feel no different to poly...

I dunno.. mine were fine until I bounced over a set of those vicious rubber sleeping policemen at, erm, a speed in excess of that which I should have been doing. (i.e. about 1mph for those things)

...I'd expect polly to be more precise. But I am now in a position to do a back to back test. Or I would be if I had time.

Agreed on the second point but not on the first.

A solid bush will not have to work as hard dealing with the stresses of hard braking. Some of us are very tough on the brakes, some aren't ;) Which reminds me, I must order a front axle kit for my car when I do the suspension ::) ::)

But do they? Or do they get gradually worse but you don't notice? :-\

Mine are genuine GM and on their way out in less than that, and very low mileage :o

Yup what? Gradually get worse?

I've noticed mine deteriorating since I got the car so know they need sorting, but other people might not notice as they don't push it as herd ;) Like the "Wooden" pads and judder I've got... SWMBO cannot feel anything wrong when she drives but it's now getting to the point that she can spot it when I'm driving ::) ::)

But regardless, for long term ownership, lemforder then Polly when the main bush fails....or before.

Unless you have a press. Then press new rearward.

Lemforder are worth it for not having to press, and give the best possible rearward bush, and a new ball joint.

Polly are worth it purely on the grounds of not having to break about tightening bolts wheels loaded.

Not cheap in total. But for best results long term.....

....IMO of course.

When replacing wishbones is it suggested to renew the bolts/nuts or just reuse existing?
