CDR 500
« on: 28 October 2011, 12:19:28 »

Hi all,

SWMBO's new Zafira has a genuine Vx/Philips tape cassette fitted, but appears it should of had a CDR500.

Does anyone have one floating around I could "aquire" off them please?  (Don't take this comment as I want a freebie)!

If so, does it have the connections for steering wheel controls or is that standard?

TIA  :y

if you get one, and have display issues, there is a keypress combination to select the 2 display types it can drive, 8 and 10 char iirc.  It will be in the ICE section somewhere if you need it.

The display is adjusted by holding down buttons 3 & 5 and then turning the stereo on (ignition on), keep 3 & 5 pressed 'till the stereo beeps. This alters the display output between either eight or ten characters.

If so, does it have the connections for steering wheel controls or is that standard?

The stereo I have will work with the steering wheel controls...

Andy & Brickhead, cheers for your emails/offers, not ignoring you both!

If you can just bear with me for a minute, SWMBO is due to have the baby anyday and things are a bit stressed at the moment. Due date was yesterday, so she's not a happy bunny  ::)

Appreciate your patience guys  :y
