Simply put, the savings for most members have been between 8 and 10 p/L ;)

I fitted mine over 10k ago now so it's paid for itself :y :y
TBE hasn't paid for itself yet.  Can you remember the mileage at conversion? 57k? Its just clocked 61k now.

Well out of my first tank I got 320 ish miles from £60 worth of gas or 18.75 pence per mile.  Same sums for petrol = 24 pence per mile
break me Guffers, either you gas is dear, or your tank is huge :o

Was a fill from empty @ 75.9 p/l

You have a 100L tank? You got nearly 80L in  :-\

Ok maybe my figures are wrong then.  I am pretty sure I filled to 80% of a 90L tank, thus 72L @ 75.9 = £54.65  :-[

Better ppm though, that works out at 17ppm, and I was caning it ::)

Given my current millage I'd be lucky to do 4 or 5k in a year  :(

It's the most economical way to run a v6, that's it.

The fact diesel exists doesn't even come into it for me being honest. Although it would be nice to see 600odd miles range after fill up, even that doesn't compel me to own and live day to day with a tractor, apologies to diesel owners but the very thought just depresses me.

Although BMW's (spit) e39 straight 6 is refined enough, even that is like dragging finger nails down my "mechanical sympathy blackboard", if you see what I mean....? It just makes me cringe by comparison to petrol engines, v engines being the cream....  For me anyway.

If I/we where that bothered, and laid that much importance on economy, none of us would have an omega at all surely? There's more to it than that.

LPG mearly makes the car I want, and the way I want to drive it, more affordable. Simples!

Whats your pence per mile?

On the 2.2, my last tank worked out at 12.5p

A trusted source  ::) tells me his is 17p, if thats the case it makes LPG'ing a V6 questionable, assuming 27mpg on petrol, thats around 21p a mile.

4p makes it hardly worth it  :(
Mine run about 320 miles per 64 litres LPG , it costs here 0.75 eurocent per 5 miles but much more worth when I manage to fill up in the neighbour Ukraine where it costs about 0.5 cent only.
