It all seems to depend on the manager you get.. their website now states (IIRC) that all you need is a business card showing you work as a mechanic, but my local manager still wants payslips from a garage..

Yeah - you get a good discount on service parts like that.. not so much on tools anymore, it seems :(

'course I went and bought some wipers the other week when out with a friend who has a trade card, got home and realised I'd bought the wrong ones  :-[ ;D Anyone have an Audi and need wiper blades? ;D

I have a trade card here if anyone wants to borrow it who is local to me, I used it on lifter treatment, only got a couple a quid or so off, £7.10 instead of £8.99.

Carb cleaner is good though, down from about 8 quid a can to about 3 ish.

Some things have heavy discount others not so much.

Ditto.

Easier to get when there are teenagers at the counter.

they seem to be having another clampdown on signing the receipts, so seems no lending for a few wekks ;)
