Got more than he bargained for setting my car up due to concerns about the tyres side wall rubbing on the front shock. This turned out to be due to the rim protection on the inboard edge, as discovered previously, so I pulled the camber out a fraction to clear but there where concerns being shoved into kerb on that side by a Range rover had caused more damage than first thought.
After extra diligent set up and double checking subframe position, hub centre position sai, we then realised it must've purely been down to rim protection and me fitting new wishbones and pollys... looked at the wear pattern on the tyres themselves and they where flat in the middle so must have been on the rear when I got the car, so would not have shown the problem until fitted on the front after the prang as they had the best tread left.
The rear track rods where heated up and adjusted spot on, which surprised me given the camber/toe trade off and the suspension set up. But it's all absolutely cock on now, they even got the steering wheel straight. Beuuuutifull.
