Neighbours with 2 vehicles parking in way
« on: 19 November 2011, 23:42:36 »

Right across our front step and a view out of the window.

Got a small car and a small van and a emptyish garage.

I think I will find a way to open their garage and then push one inside.

But then both are crap drivers.

If they're both Taxed ad MOT'd then no reason not to park them on the public highway ;) ;)

Does your house front straight on to the road? this is often a problem in terrace houses without a front garden, just be thankful it is not a big van, not much you can do I am afraid...... :( :(

In our street we have the same Issue. Not a lot can be done but thankfully the neighbours round by us are courteous enough to park outside their own houses unless the street is busy.

If they are not actually REALLY blocking your access, and both are taxed and insured, and your only real gripe is the view / you dont like it.

Then unlucky im afraid.  They are doing nothing wrong.

If you are on good terms, mention it, they may park alternatively....
If not, dont, it will get worse just to annoy you :y

My daughter lives in road of terraced and thankfully they have an unwritten code about keeping to their own front doors. Those with 2 cars (my daughter included) park one outside their house and the other where there is a spare slot either where there are no houses or where the house does not need the space outside front door. We observe this as visitors as well and is peaceful. Only problem is all the driving schools use the road as well which is a pain...

its been 20 years we are having parking problems in our road,

I finally managed to arrange parking space for my cars.. but mostly some tw*ts park randomly and block the road exit.. the reason is , neighbours can never unite and solve the problems.. >:( >:( >:(

Shared private driveway with triple garage at end, ours is full but one car, middle is similar, but end house as nearest garage - which is more or less empty and 2 smallish vehicles.

We could keep our caravan on our section but we try to be reasonable. As our neighbour said in July to the miseries in the end house when they were moaning about the caravan - brought back for a holiday - I was in hospital!

Taxing and MOT'ing means we can use the road, not park on it.  ???
