The intention was to use breadboard, as only temporary.  When that didn't work, I was about to etch a pcb (no vero in the house, or if there is I can't find it), couldn't find the ferric chloride stuff :(

I found some strip board in the garage yesterday, I use small bits to mount pickups on locos as well
