Sorry people I'm going with Hotel 21 on this,I been going off Clarkson by degrees for some time,do'nt care much about his opinions and in all honesty I think he's immature and it's time he stopped acting like a spoilt brat and realised that some of the things that he's said in the past have actually been offensive to the various people involved and lets face it if he was to say some of his stuff in your local as an unknown he'd probably get a large portion of nut right between his eyes!! Lock and load,OOORAH!! ;)

Jezza is without a doubt a national treasure.
I sure as heck wouldn't go that far. Entertaining at times, but can only do one act ;)

i love his ridiculous metaphors. i love the sense that he's still mentally 9 years old and also that he can't do anything remotely useful  ;D

i've read quite a few of his books and although they seem to follow an obvious trend they are such good reads.

Having been given a sets of Clarkson books as Chrimbo and birthday pressie's, I'm still ploughing through them and have to say they have me in tears of laughter at times - very funny and witty. :y Even funnier as I always read them as if it was in his voice. ;D

tend to agree with hotel and nitro Im afraid.Dont have a lot of sympathy for some of what Unison are doing/saying and ,yep, Clarkson was just doing his normal showboating along the lines of "any publicity is good publicity" and a "look at me , I can say the most outrageous things I can think of, how smart (smarmy!) am I?" attitude but anyone who felt they had to complain about his comments fell right into it. Used to like Clarkson and agreed with much of what he said but he is becoming increasingly a sad parody of his old self, too full of himself now methinks and saying things for the sake of it rather than trying to make a valid point.

He doesn't wind me up as such. I just try to ignore him as he is, in my view, the Mr Thrush of the tv world.  ;DP
