As has been said, routers dont need drivers. I think they were referring to your USB adapter, which would make sense.

TB: You're talkin about netgear routers in the business world... don't think I've had a single complaint about their home networking stuff (except drivers for their USB adapters :P).

to be honest guys, o dont really have the money to go and buy a new router, i have XP on cd anyway and ill back everything up on my hard drive :y

When I first had my Vista on my laptop..  MS had not written a driver for COM PORT TO USB ADAPTOR...  there was soon a download for this after I contacted them...  have you tried connecting to the lan and installing all MS updates then rebooting...  just a thought :-/

No, I am specifically talking about their consumer ADSL routers - the DG series!

thanks for all the replies peeps, i tried reseting the router but made no difference and i couldnt afford a new router so i just put Microsoft XP on it and now it works fine.
