Door mirror
« on: 07 March 2008, 11:55:13 »

This is what the bloody lorry did to my poor door mirror. Managed to get what was left of it back together and clipped on so at least I can still use it. I've found a replacement thanks to Irmscherkris so hopefully should get it soon but will have to get it sprayed to correct colour.

As said above Martin, I've sourced a complete mirror from a facelift saloon that Irmscherkris is breaking. £50 incl. delivery. :y

Hey Rod, do you you know what the colour code is as I seem to recall you had to get a new mirror trim before I bought it from you?

Nasty and frustrating Bob but could have been a lot worse. At least, from your photo's, it doesn't appear to have done any damage to the bodywork.

Sorry bud', after all was said and done I just needed to make a litte repair to one of the clips and it went straight back on so didn't investigate the colour code.

Prestige Blue was the name of the colour. Is it not on the VID badge on the slam panel?

Relevant paint code on drivers B-pillar in door shut. Any good body shop will sort it, and they won't need to keep your car either.

Sh$t happens mate!  :(

Had it have been Bob, front wing, two doors and rear quarter?........£50 quid and a bit of paint seems like a lucky escape. Just a pi**er when it happens though no matter how big or small  >:( :(
