Code 0430
« on: 18 December 2011, 11:50:59 »

As title says I have code 0430 and jimbob diagnosed it as it needing the sensor on the cat moving to a different location (Common fault apparently) but cant remember where its supposed to be moved to.... I'm looking for someone who can do this for me and i don't mind travelling a reasonable distance to get it done and naturally pay someone for doing it.... I know its near christmas so dont expect to be inundated with offers but thought i'd get the ball rolling now....

Both rear sensors move to behind main cat.

I watched Darth Loo-knee did this for tunnie a couple of months back, eats up hole saws, so may be a few quid in tools!  About £15 for the bosses and plugs.

They need moving to after the second (main) cat, its easy enough if you know what your doing & have the correct tools.

I can highly recommend Darth Loo Knee to do the work, worth dropping a PM to Elite Pete too.

What it`ll cost in parts & labour just as well getting a cheapo code reader and just re-set the EML whenever it appears

That is an unrelated lamda code.

You back over Xmas period, to give me a break from scotch eggs and Mrs TheBoy's Die Hard collection.
