O2 sensor is another name for a Lambda sensor, as above, they live in the exhaust just after the cat.
You mean just in front :P

I was looking from the other end of the exhaust!  ;) ;) ;)

I noticed my mistake .................. hoped no body else would  ::)

What bigyin failed to mention was loss of coolant and very hard top and bottom hoses which only softened when filler cap on header tank was released

Not started car since rac diagnosis but prior to visit firing on 3 till warm then constant white cloud from exhaust and managment light on constant
