lexus v8.wont fit without major surgery.

Worth translating the Rats web site from Norwegian. If its still up. Very interesting read.

Fantastic car. Shame about the vets forearm colour though. ;D

ABS modulator by the look of it  (& what's on top of it  ;))

I bet the battery is in the boot (fairly common thing to do), ABS modulator in it's place as Andy says.
Steering box changed to a rack IIRC, brakes obviously re-plumbed, all the wiring looms adjusted to suit new locations (and very well, too)..

I love the CF rocker covers. Wonder if I could get a set made for the FE..

Yes very nice and i bet they dont leak  ???
A v8 seems to fit very nice in the mig engine bay ....something to consider in the future maybe  :y

Some links here allegedly show some of the original parts from the abandoned gm v8 omega project.

IMO the exhaust manifolds hold the clues as to why v8 omega was binned. There simply isn't room routed the conventional way. Although Elvin(?) found a way routing the drivers side manifold forward then down using the space by the coolant transfer pipe on the v6's.

Not sure if I read it correctly (sleep deprived again) but did one post suggest the car was in Halstead Essex ?
If so, I must ask around as its only 2 miles away. :-\
