Its good stuff, but a bit pricey when you consider that Mrs TB must drive with the washers permenently on.

I get whatever is going cheap at the time - last lot was a load of crappy Holts at a fiver for 2 x 4l concentrate.  Got a garage full of it at that price ;D

If the VX stuff leaves chalky marks I'll avoid that, never goes well with black. Have offically run out of screen wash after two years. Stocked up two years ago with about 40 litres worth  ;D

never had a problem with marks while using Vx screen wash, isn't that more likely to be a result of crappy chalky water?  :-\ :-\

that is logical, the water round here is shite and is very hard. However only the vx stuff does it IME  ??? . Fine with anything else.  :-\

Works out I can get 25 litres of GM for £27.50, don't want it to be chalky though really black cars and what not. However it's got to be worth a try, or I buy a 25 litre drum from eBay for £20, but I don't know if that's any good?

Is it worth buying a smaller bottle first, see how you go with it?

The Vauxhall Screen was made by Sonax. It also helps to use distilled water in the washers as well
