But yeah, is anyone interested in the Olympics? What a sad state of affairs having to have that big drug testing place. Makes the whole thing pointless if dishonest cheating bastaaaaards are going to take performance enhancing drugs. They're not even real people if they do that.

I am not a great fan of the Olympics - a sport with more competitors than spectators, however lots do enjoy them. I think the point the original poster made was quite valid. Better to have nations competing peaceably rather than killing each other ( in pointless and expensive wars)

I see my attempt to encourage some interest in sport rather than some interest in killing people has fallen on stoney ground.
