I'd look into what diff ratio you want first, as it will be different between and auto and manual gearbox. ;)

Send a PM to Jimbob including your chassis/vin number and he will tell you what it left the factory with.   :y

It might.  As I understand it, it was an expensive option for initial purchase.

Also the snow mode button to left of gearshift, how do you know it's activated ? I have no lights coming on when I press it.

Thanks

It will only work in drive. Also there is about 5 omegas that I know off that have LSD that are not ex plod. Going to fit mine tomorrow so tat will be another one with LSD. So maybe someone might have put 1 in your car aftermarket so it won't show that it left factory with it.

As I recall, when in drive, button itself lights up/gets brighter when pushed/activated.  No indicator on the dash though, if thats what you are thinking.   :)

It is on a dim light all time but when in drive and button pressed it lights up bright.
As hotel21 said no indicator on dash

IIRC the winter mode button will only operate when first shifting to drive after turning the ignition on so if you drive off then try it, it wont work

Correct. only really works in drive, once you change gear manually it will switch off. used it tonight, waste of time if Im honest, only real option for me when I got stuck was 1st Gear, TC off, loud pedal and point the car in the direction you need it to go.

new gearbox really, i had this problem with my ar25 so swapped it for an ar35...you need the gearbox ecu codes reading to see whats actually up with it, think its to do with the pressure control solenoid but thats a stab in the dark without going to vx and having it read
