Absolutely lovely down here in Dorset today. Quite warm out in the sun, but colder than the last few days. You would never know the site was flooded yesterday, and the police had sealed off certain roads in the area, isolating us :y

-
Sarcasm, Gayboy, is the lowest form, don't you know. ;D
-
Do you always get snow in the winter there?
Yes, every year at least for some weeks if winter's not too hard. :y If hard it takes 2-3 months along. :)

I thought it was going to snow this morning, but it didnt. Then again at lunch time, but no. A few flakes this afternoon. 'Here it comes' I thought. No, it stopped straight away. I will peek through the blinds periodically and let you know if it actually happens. I just know that you have fick all else to worry about.

Still no snow here & still bloody cold
-
Snow!
Settling and steady fall. Back to bed I think. Really not worth the risk. :)
-
A very light snowfall on the bucks/beds border this morning, about a third of an inch in old money. Roads were clear once I escaped the village and as usual the go lightly brigade were out in force driving very very slowly on perfectly clear roads :)
Darren
-
About bloody time ::) barely a quarter inch though :'(
-
Woke up to about 1/8 inch on the car roof and bonnet. Still falling lightly but not laying ground.
-
About bloody time ::) barely a quarter inch though :'(

nothing down here yet and I doubt we will see any at all and I doubt we will ;D ;D ;D
anyway it to cold to snow in it :D :D
-
A dusting here but I am more worried about Heathrow and the missus driving back from the airport with the jaaaag... I might have to drive there and swap cars with her :-\
-
About an Inch so far this morning, doubt it will settle, although having said that no roads have been gritted locally again so who knows whats in store.
-
Well, we've ended up with nothing :y
Although still varying amounts forecast for today and tonight ::)
-
We have woken up to a dusting, expecting more later.
-
Cold and dry in swidnod at the moment.... beer straight out of the box in the garage is colder than the beer in the fridge !!!! :) :)
free fridge ;D :y
-
About an inch of snow this morning , more to come this afternoon ::)
-
Currently 1-2" here, depending on if I measure the (uncompacted) snow on patio, or on the table.
I did clear the drive this morning, but its covered again now.
-
Snowing again. Much thicker this time. :)
-
Just rain in Swidnod .... flaming cold ... 1.5 C .. but no solid water as yet .. :)

Chris , Omega is better with winter tyres but whatever you use its a rwd .. and it has its disadvantages..
an lsd will be very useful in case you are stuck and a relatively cheap kumho KW19 (very noisy) will be my recommendation..
I solved the problem with a fwd shopping trolley..
ps: when you are stuck traction control creates extra problem so it must be off..

Nope. No snow here. Nice blue skies, so a light frost each night and daytime temps of 9 to 13 Deg C.
I don't recommend Ovation tyres as fitted to my bus. Slightest bit of damp/ice and they have less traction than a bungy jumper.

-
A nice couple of inches here :y
And a ******* flat tyre too ::) >:(
-
Light dusting this morning that had only settled on cars/street furniture/plants but not on anything made of tarmac at ground level and still the regular 45 minute commute became an hour and a half.. *mutters*
Snowed on and off here in Chertsey but it's so wet that everything has melted and nothing stuck, which is good.
-
Snowing quite hard and settling here.
-
Sun is out here. Has been raining, so no snow left.
This is bad for two reasons:
1. I don't have Conti SC3s fitted to my car.
2. I don't have a powerful(ish) RWD car with LSD and easily switchoffandonable traction control just to splash through puddles.
;D

Hail ! :-\

Lovely sunshine for the latter part of afternoon, not a cloud in the sky.
I guess the snow will freeze tonight.
I can't test SC5s tomorrow, as she needs the car, and didn't fancy the Elite ;D

Assuming she can get enough traction from the SC5's to get out of your road ::)
I thought we were going to escape it as it was snowing lightly when I walked the dog between 2 and 3 and then turned to rain as I was driving back from Colchester about half 4 or so. Snowing very heavily here for the last 45 mins or so and settling quickly :o

cleaning the snow early is a good idea.. if compacted by car, you will have a #1 quality ice rink..
-
Came quite strong and heavy this morning, thought we were really gonna be in trouble...but its all gone again now.
-
Well went to bed and there was a very light dusting over everything but the roads
Woke up to this :-* :-* :y :y - which has now melted by 50%. That means ice in the morning ::)

I s'pose you'll be popping pills tonight then ::)
There's no way I'm fit to clear snow so if it's bad in the morning I'll have to take her in and pick her up ::) That said, it didn't settle too much and has (currently) stopped snowing
-
More forecast here tomorrow and i got to drive the micro car back ::) best take some sand bags and put them on the bonnet >:(
-
It's all gone in London, popped back to Brackley today, quite lot of thick slush on estate roads. New winter tyres really gripped well, could feel the difference.
Supposed to be cold and dumping loads tonight according to the news.

Great! That'll make me look even more of a pillock driving back from the post office in an MX 5 with the top down and (hopefully) an eternal exhaust sticking out of the passenger seat. ::)

True. I might be travelling in a straight line, at least.
-
Or, indeed, in an MV6 with no centre sections or back box. ;D
Had to move that out of my mate's garage and up his driveway. It woke the dead. :D
-
Assuming it's the mate I think, I should think that echoed beautifully ;D

Very slight dusting, starting to settle.
Falling steadily.
-
nothing here at the mo...bloody cold though.....guess it wont be long..... :y

Had a dusting last night, maybe half inch tops, settled well, as Monday's lot hadn't gone.
None of the panic/armageddon the media promised.... ....yet
-
Its a blizzard here about 4 inches landed in 2 hours

That does appear go be as forecast. Ie red warning.
If forecasts have been correct so far, then a yellow warning doesn't seem to be much to worry about. But we'll see after today.
Getting heavier here though.
-
Correction, south west corner of the country has an amber warning.
-
Torrential rain here last night and +6C ???
-
Just started here. Although its not my idea of snowing ;D
-
Just getting the first light dusting, but looks like more to follow.
I love getting the boots, thick socks, and other snow gear out ! :)

Someone at work just sent me a picture to prove it's snowing where he lives.. I told him "That's not snow. I can still see the road!" ;D

So glad I got winter tyres, was thinking it was just for legal reasons in Austria, as 99% motorway would I need them?
Think I will, extremely impressed with them in snow/slush so far. I've got quite a few boxes of huge bathroom tiles, thinking of chucking that in the boot for some extra weight. Won't take up too much space, just line the boot with them, help traction.
Leaving at 4am, so hopefully should be little traffic if any about.
-
Traction doesn't really seem to be a problem with snow tyres on .. I tested it this morning on some untreated roads ;D
Although ice can still get a little hairy (as I found out a couple of nights ago on some different untreated roads) - manageable, but hairy when a big patch creeps up on you in the dark.
-
Getting heavy in the north west with quite poor visibility and still there are dozens of morons out on the road driving with no lights, driving too fast, driving too close.. Idiots! >:(
-
M4 swindon looks to be closing in. Lane 3 not used as snow covered.
2 and 1 looking heavier by the minute. I reckon that will be closed by mid avo if this keeps up.
-
I for one couldn't be happier at the moment :y
Wed / Thurs was minus 8 deg at 6am
This morning it was a nice balmy plus 1 deg :)
Looking at the forcast (if you believe the weatherman), we should miss most of it so with a bit of luck the ice will melt over the next few days :)
Take care boys and girls, looks like some of you are going to have some fun later ;)
-
stayed home - not trusting to South West Trains - coming down steadily now - it is bin day today - so let's see how they go on - and is the postman a wimp?

-
A good 4" here now.
Clearly the kids have been sent home, as they are all in my road, compacting the snow down. That'll be fun later, when it freezes.
-
sods law headlight bulb blew his morning, so got to change that tonight. Driving to Austria tomorrow. Bring it on! :D 8)
Yes it's nice to be prepared isn't it. :y
M4 eastbound closed near Bristol according to the news.
About an inch settled here now. Falling heavier.
Full tank of gas, full tank of petrol, that'll give it some weight.
-
Bicester horrible
But Omega at home using the Frontera ;)
-
Been snowing and drifting here for the last hour ::) Good job we have plenty of custard in the cupboard ...cant see the 106 :(

Heavy snow overnight as forecast, though luckily it began just after I got home at around 0100 this morning.

M4 and main road through our valley closed, and no buses or trains .... and I cannut get to work 8)
Oh .... and surprise surprise .... not a snow-plough of gritting lorry in sight.
Still, Mrs Seth's got a big pan of beef stew simmering away nicely for our evening meal! :y

no snow here in Plymouth just rain but all around the outskirts and on dartmoor there's snow :)
-
watching the car park, its amazing how many people just climb in and drive off, without bothering to clear any snow off windows.
Just saw lady in an M3, get in do nothing, start to reverse, realised snow covered rear window. Got out, looked, then got back in.
FFS spend 20 seconds just wiping snow off!
Morons....

"But I did it earlier in the week" wasn't a valid argument ;D

2hrs to drive from milton keynes to kettering, people doing 10 mph on the dual carriage ways in mk and not much snow covering, and the amount of cars with no lights on was beyond a joke.

Response to the snow has been pitiful here. Plenty of warning yet roads pretty much untreated. Still, got Mrs. KW to work and on to the office only to be told the building was closing at 12, so a couple of hours' work then back again. :D
I think the authorities now work on the basis that if they tell everyone to stay at home, and make essential journeys only, nobody can complain about the lack of gritters and snowploughs and private business will just have to stomach the cost of lost productivity. ::)
-
Recon we have had about 2 inches so far but still falling quite heavy :(

This is the snow ploughs (at about 1 minute 20 in) that British Rail used to keep the tracks open, and in the severe winter of 1963, when men with shovels did their bit as well! Those were the days :D :D ;)

:y :y
-
................yes, and in those days they kept the railways running no matter what! :P :P ;)
But steam made all the difference, and in fact during that winter numerous steam locomotives were brought back from the scrap lines to pull the trains as the diesels failed all too often!! ::) ::) ::) ;)
Then steam was gone! Progress? :)

He doesn't sound like he's in much comfort, and I'll bet my left gonad that he'll feel worse in the morning. But he'll live.
Ironically, the reason he had to use the bike (his missus normally takes him to work) was because of a doctors appt... ...which was cancelled because the useless NHS are lazy morons due to snow.

ITS A WHITE HELL OUT THERE..thought i`d say it before the papers use it for tomorrows headlines.. ;D

bins not emptied - however postman appeared in area - but no post for me for once. The guy deserves a medal.
wise decision to remain at home as my South West Trains alert has been telling me that all trains from Waterloo to Farnborough hit by signalling issues.
danger of having time on my hands though is that I almost bought a VW Golf 1.6 TDI DSG for SWMBO - tempting offer but in view of weather decided to put it on ice ::)

Heads should roll down there as happened up here in Scotland in 2010 our transport minister was ejected and our new one (Keith Brown) hasn't pissed about either all last week gritters were out on all major routes all councils have access to thousands of tons of salt no expense spared even my council went out and bought 12 4x4's, four of which have plough attachments and salt spreaders on the back. also they bought four 4x4 gritters which brings our gritters to 10 aslo 6 bobcats (not been used yet) and any hgv driver in the council that wanted to got trained on all gritters.
So far today the council has spread 600+ton of salt and weve had no snow

The invincible 4x4's are flying down the outside lane in the snow. ::) ::) Thankfully these vehicles are fitted with super duper tyres that can stop instantly on snow and ice. After all, we all know that four tyres sliding is much safer than two tyres sliding. ::) ::)

Depends what you deem as "flying"... I've been known to go down the outside, snow covered lane in my Omega when the retards in front refuse to go over 15 mph :o :o

The sort of speed that they had no chance of stopping and run a serious risk of spinning out. We have a 4x4 in the family that is fully equipped for Norway trips (mud & snow tyres with stud compatibility) but I still wouldn't push it to risk other people's lives. :)

Left work about lunchtime and the roads were basically clear - little bit of slush, bit slippy but fine with winter tyres on. Got 500 yards away from work and someone in a Discovery very nearly rear ended me; presumably they equate 4x4 to "invincible" and free from the laws of physics, despite it's low profile super wide summer tyres...
Drove to Amy's, took her home when her folks finally relented and let her leave early and had a nice drive home in great conditions (I thought!) and then ended up stopping to help a middle aged mother out of a ditch on a series of bends where she'd lost it, not to mention the bloke who ended up joining her (he was heading in the opposite direction originally!) while trying to avoid collecting her pirouetting Citroen. While we were doing that a couple more morons almost joined them in the ditch through going far too fast, only to speed off at precisely the same rate of leptons after collecting their cars (and underwear), ffs. There's no teaching some people!

Mrs. Gixer clearly keeps the chutney tray at the bottom of the garden. ;)

:y One of lifes little treats ,fighting through the snow to get home and then parking the car in the garage all snug and frost free :'( that's how sad my life has become :'(

Cats. :y
It's so funny watching them go out. They shake their paws after each step. ;D
Then hear us laughing. They don't like us laughing at them. So try to wait until we're not looking. ;D
Ours won't go out any more... But she's finally decided she'll use a tray (at 15 years old!) :y
Dog is hilarious in the snow... I keep giving her snowballs to play with which fall apart and she searches for them ;D ;D Or throw snowballs at her ::) But it's the white trace on her nose when it's time to come in... Looks like she's been doing lines :-X ;D ;D

There's 10" here, the snow's quite deep too!

If it does,I will have my first experience (iirc) of driving a wwd car in snow. :)

Not here, still below 0C

Smelting :'( well on the gritted roads anyways ::)
Josh should be pleased to hear that his LSD works a treat 8) foot down, slight kick to the left and off it goes in a nice straight line, with the oddepileptic flash of the TC light ::)
Tunnie should have had a fair run down to Dover smorning, the Highways Agency have done a tidy job plowing/gritting the M23 and 25 :y both carriageways nice and clear, just a shame that West Sussex only managed to grit one lane of the A24 and 264 ::)
-
Been a strange night here... Looks like a very slight thaw possibly but also a very light dusting!
Snowing very lightly at the moment and forecast on and off all day!
Let's see what tomorrow brings though ::)

The tinkers want £3 (or was it £5) at the tip to dispose of it. rather arsehole pikeys.
Bit worryied angle grinding it, due to the belts...

Next time you come down this way, drop it off at the gliding club. We use them to weigh down the wings of gliders waiting to take off. Must be thousands of them around. Another one won't hurt. ;D

Actually, I've got one to get rid of, complete with rim. Wondering how to separate them? :-\

Cut round the side wall on both sides with a stanley knife then using a big grinder or sthil saw cut through the bead and tyre bead at the same time then off to scrappies with the alloy wheel. theres no wire in the side wall and if you try and cut the tyre across the tread you will go through cutting disco like no tomorrow :y

Started snowing again.

Snowing like hell here....cleaned all the paths yesterday...total waste of time. :(

Very bored here at work,so just been very childish and went for a spin around the works car parks.Wwd not that much fun in the snow tbh, although I think my handbrake now needs adjusting up. ;D
The bloke who is (hopefully) taking over at the end of my shift really doesnt like driving in the snow,so my shift might just become a 24 rather than 12 hour shift. ::)

The wife took the dog out earlier, while I was watching the epic match between Djorkovic and Wawrinka. The kids had built a snowman with a hat, some glasses and, kids being kids, a banana for his dick. The dog jumped up and ran off with it, much to everyone's amusement.

A bit too old for that Cem. I have learnt my lesson....I went on the grandsons scooter three weeks ago, tried going over a ramp, and ended up on the deck. Still got up, brushed off, and started again but another fall done me up.....taken the last three weeks to get over it. So sports are out. I normally go out and snowball fight with the kids of the road, but thats out this year :(

Went out for a walk this morning, saw some chav in a Corsa (with a baked bean tin weld on the exhaust, and suspension virtually slammed) stuck. Revving the 'dangle berries' off his 1.0l, moaning it was wheelspinning. He asked for a push, I sugested he went home instead until he had a suitable car and suitable mentality. We left it at that.

Freezing now.

Politely of course? ::) :D
We went out for a walk with the hound... Drove to the normal car park on clear roads and just had the slippery car park to contend with, which was no problem :y
Walked for about 50 mins and came back to a covered car (again!) and a reasonably attractive young lady in stelleto boots and a dressing gown :o :o She was off to to a nude photo shoot in the snowy woods :o Unfortunately SWMBO said we weren't allowed to extend the walk and go around again :-X ::)
Drove home on an inch or so of snow on treated surfaces :o Snowed non stop since too... A few inches + this afternoon and a couple of inches on the (treated) roads ;)
Going out for the pub quiz tonight too... I'm driving :y
-
Had about 1/4" today :'( had cleared and gritted the full width of the road in front of the house on Friday night.
Gritted it again smorning just as it started to snow, and still clear ::)

Should of got a 1.1 ::) ;D

went over to Burghfield where it is all clear - only my local roads giving any hint of problem - Phaeton far more sure footed than Omega (it ought to be as it is permanent 4wd) - with the snow/ice we have on drive at home and access road I would have been struggling in Omega.
-
Politely of course? ::) :D
Yeah, it was actually :). No benefit just going in aggressive...
-
Son's school in South Bucks - their web site has now been updated to say the school will be closed tomorrow.
-
Been snow here constantly since 7am and the local roads have now turned icy. Went out to pick up the the family this evening and I almost crapped myself 5 mins into the journey when the car in front stopped at a zebra crossing, catching me slightly unaware. The rest of the journey was ok.
I had a little giggle while watching an Audi navigate a speed hump covered in ice. It slid all over the place, hitting both kerbs and eventually making it over sideways. I changed my mind and did a u turn instead.
Some people were driving far too fast for the conditions though (or maybe I was driving too slow?) and some pedestrians don't make it easy for drivers either, stepping onto the roads as you're approaching them.
-
Managed to drive into town for the pub quiz... Even the A12 has a couple of inches on it now :o
Very little traffic about though so good fun
-
The drive home from work took 45 minutes rather than the usual 35.More traffic than I thought there would be,and the usual sprinkling of idiots. Some on the A12 were stil doing around 70 with no bigger a gap between than you would leave in dry conditions. ::)

Oh dear....should have known....Mike's on the ball ;D ;D
-
Just had a peek outside before going to sleep and there's over an inch laid on her car (not warm, just cleared a section on it) since we got home at 11ish and it's still falling steadily. Laid on my car again too ::)
Looks like I'm duty taxi in the morning, assuming we can get out ;)
Had several inches today and it's forecast to fall all night and most of tomorrow so things could get interesting :y
On the plus side, the new tyres are coping well considering I haven't even dropped the pressures yet :y Have had some interesting handling moments but only really because I've been provoking it... No traffic+slippery roads=Playtime! ::) ;D
-
Are these the Runway Enduro's LD?
No snow here overnight, the thaw continues.
-
Snow overnight here again , no sign of any traffic moving .. looking out in the garden the snow has topped everything up to about 6 inches . Supposed to be going shopping but cant see that happening :( if it dont thaw soon we will be living off custard ::)
-
Had a couple of inches here this morning, roads seem clear though, only the country lanes which are untreated.
-
Main roads are clear, side roads are fun, keep losing the mut in the garden

Yep... Not even dropped the pressures yet :y

Should add, most of the main roads are ok... A little slippery in places but generally ok.
We've had about 7" now

Just heard that someone was killed on the A12 at Kelvedon at around 7.30 last night. The same stretch where I was dismayed by some of the driving half an hour earlier. Obviously dont know the circumstances of the accident, but it didnt come as a great surprise after what I had seen. :(

Not a surprise... One of my guys came back through there only a fraction before that time :o :o He said the driving was poor yesterday and what I saw when I was out was quite atrocious at times :o

Started snowing again here ::)
-
06.45 No new snow..... :( When I next looked out at 08.00 blizzard and quite a covering, Miss Vamps and swmbo sent home from their respective school's.............. ::) ::)
More of a 'slush' now though coming down......

Quite possible... You've been to mine and know how remote it is in respect to Ipswich... Some of what fell as snow on us could easily have been sleet/rain in a slightly warmer area ;)
As for not taking the Boxster out... Probably a good thing really :-X :-X

Snowing properly again for the last few hours and another inch or more on the cars/roads ::) Judging by the speed the last car went past on the main Heath road it has settled on there again too >:( Guess I'm duty driver again in the morning ::)
-
More here today, the main road got well covered but the gritters have been doing a good job, been passed several times and basically the road is clear at the moment..... :y :y
-
Just woke up,looked the window, and some fugger has just dumped another 6 inches of it outside. It's still falling quite in bucket loads.
-
No snow but the stuff we had is still here >:( apparently its going to be - 9 on thursday :-\
-
It's almost gone off the roads and footpaths here :)
-
Snow here about 4 inches on the ground-got halfway to work-about 6 miles and had the call that it was closed. So back home by 6.45am.

Torrential rain, thunder, lightning then hail, sleet & finally snow overnight here in Cornwall. :o
It didn't shift the old snow and everything is now covered in 1/2" of ice. A38 closed due to pirouetting cars bumping into each other.
I stepped out of the front door intending to attempt the journey to work but decided it wasn't safe to walk to the car so back inside now with a coffee :y
-
We had a little over an inch overnight but started to turn to sleet/rain this morning. All main roads are clear, although there are some icy patches, but our road is bad now ::) We might manage a bit of a thaw before it dumps another load later this week ::)
-
we are snowed in again . thats normal :y :y

I try not to harbour petty prejudices but BMW drivers do a sterling job of reinforcing those prejudices on a daily basis... ::)
On a serious note: the road is still closed 7 hours after the first crash (presumably for forensics) so there may be a fatality involved :(

Just been out with a measuring stick ... so far tonight about 3" and it's still falling quite heavily.. add that to the previous lot and it totals about 7"-8" on the garden table :)
Tomorrow morning could be interesting for SWMBO .. I'll just turn over and stay in bed :)

Yep, nothing here. Looking at the radar, we must have missed it by only 20 miles or so.

We got rid of one lot to rain yesterday and it dumped a fresh load overnight!

How are the roads in Swansea? I'm in Fforestfach tomorrow.
Snowing in Bristol at the moment. Nothing major. All roads (Except the seldom used) are perfectly clear.
-
Yes how are the valleys ? Passable?
All but completely thawed here. :)

We had more overnight, yesterday swmbo cleared off her car for a return to work this morning, out had to come the brush again...... ::) ::) ::)
4WD works on the Jeep though.... :y :y
-
We have had another dumping here at five tonight. Roads all covered, only the main road clear. Had to go round mother's, and the Omega did not like it one bit. :(
-
I was dragging the diff and bumpers on the
snow ice this morning. A lot of its gone overnight, but still scrapped the diff.
-
What the hell are you lot gonna talk about next week, rain?

All but one of the mountain passes are now open, Chris ... meant that I had to make a very pleasant detour to get over into the Rhondda Valley this afternoon ... to the only place that I trust to do wheel alignment 'round these parts. Got OOF discount too! :y
Great to here our TD in full cry, climbing high out of the Ogmore Valley north of Bridgend, then another blast up out of the Ely valley before the 1 in 5 descent into the Rhondda at Porth.
Couldn't/can't help thinking that it would make a fantastic OOF Road Run.
Food for (future) thought ... possibly ... 8)

As lozz would say "more to come" . Forecast for tomorrow is another 4-5 inches here :( then rain (http://i219.photobucket.com/albums/cc143/vmartinjr/woohoo-5.gif)
-
Sounds like heavy rain on the window. I would imagine that will help melt the snow and ice left on the roads around here.

Bright yellow thing in the sky this morning after another 2 inches of snow overnight , hope you didnt get caught out on the M6 :-X

The rain has washed a load of our snow away. I can now see patches of grass for the first time in 2 weeks. Road is still covered in compacted snow/ice, but a few bits of tarmac are starting to show.
-
Now snowing heavily in Spalding Lincs, the V6 is tucked away gleaming in the garage till this lot goes! Will use the Terracan in any bad weather.
-
My missus has just set off for home from Sheffield, says she may be some time as traffic is at a standstill. It's stopped here in Wakefield and is turning to slush.
8°C tomorrow :y
-
Chucking it down with the whit fluffy stuff here :)
-
We've had a good coating here today. Saw a cock in an Insignia going to fast on the A483 just outside wrexham today, he must have run onto the 6ft wide standing snow between the outside lane and the central reservation, next thing you know he's veered into the barrier and then he's spinning down the road and into the side of a wagon. He wasn't very happy when I called him a gentlemans sausage ::)

It's been slinging it down heavily here for the last hour after being on-off all day. Horrible thick, wet stuff that lays and turns slushy underfoot, gawd help us if it freezes overnight ::) ;D
-
Nothing here :y :y
Although there are several different forecasts for tonight here ::) Hopefully any we do get will be washed away by morning
-
Somebody with talc up their arse has farted, and caused a mere dusting here on Mount Brakkers - though we still have covered grass for Monday's downfall

Snowed earlier, nothing came of it though. :)
-

Same here, it started to settle on the grass but it has all melted. :y

Loads this afternoon, looked OK at work but as I got closer to home there was a lot more. I took a turn onto a country lane, to take a detour to a shop; I got quite a shock the wind was up an blowing off the large open fields, total white out and drifting quickly some a few inches deep of fresh snow - no problem for the Jeep though........... :D :D :D
