These functions produce a blank screen if no RGB cable.I didn't understand the schemes but I'll ask a friend if he is familiar with these kind of things, I was thinking about buying a loom ( https://www.ebay-kleinanzeigen.de/s-anzeige/opel-omega-adapterkabel-ncdr/1437566836-223-1124 ) like this one but it is very expensive. It is not required for any other function, including the pictorial sat nav.
Telematics doesn't need RGB cable to function, even if you did fit it.
The telematics loom is just a 36way ISO extension lead (with minor modifications), and is useful if you want to add the RGB or do other loom mods. Certainly not essential if you are happy to cut and modify the existing loom.
