Omega General Help / Re: Headlight question

Which tyres do you have on the back? My Mig came with some random ditchfinders all-around and was as jittery as break, fine once they were changed.

Omega General Help / How come the 2.2 DTIs get hot air so quickly?
« on: 10 December 2012, 09:16:39 »
I've been suprised at how quickly I start getting hot air out of the vents in the 2.2 DTI (within minutes of me starting it from stone cold), now I'm not complaining, but do these have a fuel burning heater or other device installed?

General Discussion Area / Re: Looking to buy a new TV
« on: 16 November 2012, 18:24:44 »
As long as the reviews don't bring up any horrific points (like dying after a few months, or only displaying QVC), just get stuck in and buy one.

I umm-ed and ah-ed for a week when it came to chuck the CRT away a few years back before realising quite a few of these TV reviews / articles / forum posts are made by people who have way too much time on their hands.

I would not recommend 3D on a 32" tv unless you are sitting very very close, the neighbours 42" 3D telly looks odd as it is.

BTW I have an LG 32LH7000 and it's been grand.

I couldn't describe a single current Peugeot that stands out / I would fancy owning. Odd that they keep going.

What terbert said - politics and the police shouldn't go toghether.

I was planning on voting, but kept forgetting and then it was too late - the same for many from the turnout figures.

I'll pop along to the next meet, a few tidy Omega's around Basingstoke - wondered if any were members here.

I'd recommend getting the free (and excellent) Notepad++, not only is a great editor it also has find-in-files support built-in.

If I want to find mention of the word 'omega' in all .txt files I would

> find "omega" *.txt

or if case does not matter

> find /i "omega" *.txt

add '| more' if you want to view one page of results at a time

or leave off the '*.txt' if you want to search all files.

ok, I'm a socialist. But those demonstrators setting fire to the bank and killing those people inside - not cool. And comparing her with Hitler, ffs

The prcompatible. in Greece are bad, but caused by the fraud of Greek officials when they joined and the massive tax evasion going on there.

Hello Jason!

Woah - with that mileage, mine at 145K is starting to look young ;-)

Careful with the glowplugs - mine came out fine but some have had problems with them snapping, there is a howto here (careful with the hot turbo, the hairs on the back of my fingers are just now growing back)

It's theft if you don't let them know. You could get away with it but you wouldn't feel right, right?

Call Vodafone and tell them to collect it at your convenience, not their's, perhaps they do let you keep it.

Thought CDs had it as well?

Nope, only CDX in cloth, for some strange reason.

My leather CDX has it too (FL)
