I would like a front loading single CD player instead of my 4-CD multi-changer (with magazine stuck in).
If I bought a CDR 2005, could I do a simple straight swap?

Omega Electrical and Audio Help / Xenon bulb not lighting intermittently...

Yesterday evening, one of my Xenon headlamps didn't light and a warning came on the dash. 
My immedaite thought was that the bulb had gone, but after switching off and on a couple of times it lit. When I stopped and switched off the engine, I tried turning on again and could see that the bulb was flickering but not actually lighting (like a flourescent tube trying to light).
Later, when I tried again (after starting the engine), it lit first time.
:question Is this a problem with the bulb or is there something that kick-starts the bulb that might be faulty, like a starter motor or something?

The CD changer on my CCR 2006 has the 4-disc cassette stuck in. It wont play any of the 4 CD's and it wont eject. It shows 'error cdc' on the display.
Anyone know how I can remove the cassette?

Update:
It worked! vxomega1978's method worked and I unlocked the car in about half an hour with no damage done. It's surprisingly easy.
Now for the twist in the story.....you may have guessed, the leys weren't there. It now appears that my girlfriend Andrea (micky taking positively encouraged by everyone ALL weekend at Newent!!!) picked them up Friday evening by mistake, thinking thay were hers. She then changed her mind about going out and so they were sat in her coat pocket.
Who's "so clumsy" dear?

It's deadlocked and they couldn't get in, gonna pm vxomega1978 and see if he can help. :question
Typically, I lost my keys a couple of weeks ago and just didn't give getting a replacement any priority.
On the bright side (tryin to convince myself here :-/ ), nice to know the car's secure!

I did manage to get some strong cord wrapped around the interior lock but do you think it would lift? Not on your Nelly!

I've locked my keys in the boot and i don't have a spare.

If it's the drivers side, you can especially feel the knock through the pedals and even a slight rutt in the road will make it knock. It's very annoying. They're cheap to replace so i'd try those first before wishbones.
When it comes to doing wishbones, it can be a real pig of a job (if you're not experienced). I've done them myself and they didn't last very long, probably due to incorrect torquing procedure. Some of the guys did mine at Newent last year and there is a definite knack to doing them (it's easy when you know how of course). I would recommend getting someone experienced to help you first time round. Get a 4-wheel align done after too, it's really worth it.

I've done em before and they should be easy, but I ended up having to saw it off because I couldn't grip the backs.

It's always a bugger the first time you do it, you don't know which bits are going to be hard, or whether a certain part should be hard. I lay on my back in utter ruin trying to get the first one out. It took three hours and no end of levering and banging and in the end, grinding!
Eventually it came out and the next side was a sinch as i knew exactly which way to tackle it. Good work!

Omega General Help / Rear brake disc keeps warping

I changed my rear discs at Newent and have done only 20k miles and the same one has warped again.
When I took the old one off one side had no wear, so I'm suspecting a seized caliper or corroded pins stopping one side operating?
Are they easy to refurb or is it best to swap? Anyone got one NS Rear? Are they easy to swap?
