Fair play, she has had it a bit now and loves it.  I'm impressed, cracking bit of kit easy to set up and use.  She can sit down as if its a book for hours at a time.   Big recommendation from here if you are thinking of one.  :y

I've been using a Sony reader for a couple of years and always thought it excellent, BUT, I bought my daughter a Kindle for christmas and  have to admit that I prefer the kindle.

hmmmmm, where as the page icons arent small, they are not large either.

Keyboard and menu require a degree of control and accuracy to get new, select books etc.

Your best bet would be to find someone local to try, Ive seen plenty of freecycle ad's requesting a look at a kindle, may be worth a try
