Very glad youve finally got it sorted.

Again, I hope so. If there was a problem he could of posted something, he's been on twice this month now.
Can't say he hasn't had time etc, as how long does it take to package/organise a courier/wait for it to be collected etc. Thats a fair amount of time, IMO :-?

No probs, I reckon when I informed him about the dispute, traders list, and police involvement, he realised it wasnt worth not sending it.


Just glad its sorted, and sorry it had to go so far before you got sorted.

Ditto, but as LD pointed out he could have genuine reasons! I don't know anymore, just glad the exhaust showed up!

That is a good result for you.

However I do not think we should be bestowing any kind of confidence in him until he explains why it took him so long.  As said he may have legitimate reasons but then why were his comms so poor?

I think he should remain on a blacklist until then to protect others  :y

Morning everyone!

Another step closer to resolving the issue.

I tracked down the address and landline number of v6alex. I rang the him and spoke to (his wife/girlfriend?), left a message asking for him to arrange collection of the exhaust and return my money as it wasn't the correct one.

Later on yesterday, I received a message from v6alex apologising for the lack of comms & delay in sending, but his father had passed away  :(
He still insisted that the exhaust should fit though.
I replied back asking if his 3.0 mv6 it came off was an estate as mine is and not a saloon?

Awaiting a reply....

The bonus is, I now know where he lives and have a landline, so whatever happens, I WILL resolve this one way or another  :y

Looking good so far though  ;)
