Google maps was the daddy had years in perfecting it, Apple were annoyed as Android always got far superior versions of the app.

Google maps was ultra clean too, zero fuss. It's unbeatable in my opinion  :y

No update for me yet then.

And possibly no iPhone 5 in that case.

Yep... The mapping is a real weak point >:( >:(

Fortunately I use TomTom anyway so have other options and there will, no doubt, be a google maps app fairly soon ::)

Full screen view in Safari (landscape) does make the screen feel much bigger when surfing though :y

Yes, did hers last night.

Seems to like you signed into gamecentre etc, which we never bothered with before.
facebook integration is handy
its fixed the bluetooth not working with her car! :)  Still doesnt autoconnect, but it works if you leave it in the bluetooth screen while starting the car, then handsfree fully operational for the duration.

1st attempt at the upgrade failed, but it restored and carried on no probs.

Strange about the Bluetooth. Mine connects automatically to the Nokia kit in the car, parrot kit in one van, built in kit in another 2 vans and a portable visor kit. All with no problems, although I sometimes have to do the first connection manually if I haven't been connected to it for a few weeks.

IIRC the head unit that Jimbob has (I had a very similar one) requires the phone to be "discoverable" even once paired with the device in order to first connect; that's (AFAIK) not standards compliant as once paired the device shouldn't need to be discoverable to connect (that's the idea of pairing, after all).. Pioneer fail ;)

Jimbob has a pikey kit in LJ's car ;)

No plans to upgrade before 6.1 comes out - you have to be a real idiot fanboy to upgrade to an Apple x.0 release ;)

I didn't (well I have had an early PFL as my 2nd Omega ;D), I had the utterly superior, near perfection if the tinker didn't rust like a, uhmmm, Vauxhall, MFL. The most superior of the 3 eras of Omega-B's
