Like the look of this one just not the price. Handy to have a remote to ajust the settings.

I put something like this in the boys bedroom years ago, but had to put a reinforcing section, between the ceiling joists to take the additional weight and movement... :y :y

Not warm enough up her at night to get the fan out yet..... :( :(

Going to have to get a fan or one of those portable a/c units. Haven't had a decent nights sleep since it started to feel like summer. At least the a/c is working in the omega for during the day  :y
never got a/c on ,i like the windows open on the car :y :y

Well Eastern side of uk is much colder than West , cold wind blowing and more like 10deg  >:( Too cold for ice cream man who just pulled up  :P

ice cream at 10 celcius..    ???   later I will need surgery to breath ;D

 :o

Omegaman will be sleeping in his car  ::) ;D
That would mean having the engine on all night imagine how much petrol it would use  :o :D ;D

I'll have a look on Argos's website see if i can find one around £50 say.

How noisy are these compared to ceiling fans ?

got one ,they just move warm air around , stopped useing it  :( :(

Going for this one on Tuesday hopefully  :y
http://www.argos.co.uk/static/Product/partNumber/4328317.htm#pdpFullProductInformation

Question: "Bulbs required 1 x 30W SES eco halogen or 1 x 40W SES (not included)."

Argos don't provide the bulb with the sale and don't seem to stock the bulb  :-\

Anyone know what type/size these ceiling fans take ?

(Looks like another hot night 26c in the bedroom already  :'( ;D)

Did you put bug screen on the windows and then open them? It cannot possibly be 26DegC outside too!! Have you checked that the CH isn't on?

Todays tip. Work out the prevailing wind. Say it is coming from the front of the house. Then open a window on the front, leave the bedroom doors open and open a window in the bedroom.  The wind then blows through the house and takes away the heat.........

Currently just been to check just for you 24.3c its cooling down slowly with windows open a little..

Was around 24/26c outside today around 16c outside at present. Don't have CH so that can be ticked off  ;D
