Looks like another hot night 26c in the bedroom already  :'( ;D

What do you live in? A tent?  ::)  I think you need to check you have adequate loft insulation, which not only keeps the heat in but keeps it out as well.  ;)

Going for this one on Tuesday hopefully  :y
http://www.argos.co.uk/static/Product/partNumber/4328317.htm#pdpFullProductInformation

Question: "Bulbs required 1 x 30W SES eco halogen or 1 x 40W SES (not included)."

Argos don't provide the bulb with the sale and don't seem to stock the bulb  :-\

Anyone know what type/size these ceiling fans take ?

(Looks like another hot night 26c in the bedroom already  :'( ;D)
Any idea on what bulb type this will need, Think i'll go for a 40W.

Its says SES....Small Edison Screw....so probably golf ball or candle type bulb.....

Okay a quick update..

Got the ceiling fan from Argos today looks pretty solid well put together, Currently 70% fitted just finishing off some of the wires and screwing things together  :y

Went for this one in the end (but in white) and got an Osram bulb for it  ;)

Just going over the instructions it has a switch to chose which way the fan blades turn Clockwise or Anticlockwise.. Going by Google in "Summer" They should be spinning Anticlockwise but the manual says Clockwise for "Summer"   ??? ..

Something to do with keeping the warm air around the ceiling area and keeping the floor area cool.. I'll probably go with the Manual but just encase anyone else got these with the switch to chose the direction they spin ?

You mean cheap ones have pull switches this has a remote to control fan speed light and dimmer settings just have to press the switch on top of the device to chose direction of the spin  :P ;D ;D Should bloody have as well at this price  :o
