Yes......and if this goes 'tits up' what then? :-\

There seems to be no way to check the oil level manually. :-\

Nasty, expensive sounding noises from under the bonnet  ???  ???  ???

A quick Google shows that a proper dipstick is available ..... at a price .... no idea what else is necessary to fit it  :-\  :-\  :-\ One for MArk maybe  :-\

No special bits needed, just remove dipstick blank plug and fit said dipstick in't hole, your indy should have one or do as Andy says and check via cluster :y

So even a ***king dipstick is an optional extra, Henry.

It beggars belief. :(

I went to pick the missus up from the train station last night, very small spaces for waiting. Along comes a girlie in an AudiQ9.......hilarious. She managed to squeeze it in but was stuck inside the car looking totally helpless. All the males in the vicinity........pissed ourselves. ;D

Parktronic. A £605 option on the Merc, although probably standard kit on STMO's Daewoo.

Competent drivers have no need of such aids. They are for fools and women.

Not on the 2006 model. I believe that they come as standard on later models.

Comand/Sat Nav/ DVD is a £1990 option, and the 6 CD player a £365 option.  :-\

Luckily for me, some wealthy bastard ticked the options box when the car was new. :y

No Comand on mine, though it has a CD changer in the glove box. I think it was only the wealthy bastards that would order a 5 litre V8 in the first place.  ;) ;)
