There seems to be no way to check the oil level manually.

Nasty, expensive sounding noises from under the bonnet     

A quick Google shows that a proper dipstick is available ..... at a price .... no idea what else is necessary to fit it      One for MArk maybe

No special bits needed,just remove dipstick blank plug and fit said dipstick in't hole,your indy should have one or do as Andy says and check via cluster

I went to pick the missus up from the train station last night, very small spaces for waiting. Along comes a girlie in an AudiQ9.......hilarious. She managed to squeeze it in but was stuck inside the car looking totally helpless. All the males in the vicinity........pissed ourselves.

Not on the 2006 model. I believe that they come as standard on later models.

Comand/Sat Nav/ DVD is a £1990 option, and the 6 CD player a £365 option. 

Luckily for me, some wealthy bastard ticked the options box when the car was new.
