Brandy and Stones Ginger Wine.  :y

Everyone in our family has had this really bad cough and cold but it's avoiding me so far touch wood. I'm kidding myself that it's the Brandy and Ginger that's keeping it at bay.  ::)
The trouble is, I've got to keep having my nightly dose as you never know what's lurking, so I daren't stop.  ;) :y

Man-Flu and bad cold, aren't they the same thing. According to Mrs YZ they are.  :-\ :)

Fish. Another one of my silly, gay allergies  :-[. I used to be able to eat a Birdseye Cod Fishfinger (so no fish there then!), but even that makes my call to the Lord down the big white telephone now  :-[

That it! I've not touched a drop of alcohol since the Friday after xmas, and I fell ill late the following night, and not been better since.

The manflu was proper manflu, the type where you're laying on the sofa, and seriously considering wetting yourself, as you haven't the energy get up and walk crawl across the hall to the bog.

You should have been in bed, not on the sofa ::) if you're well enough to watch daytime telly, you should be at work, or sectioned :y

I'm afraid I am able to confirm it is no myth. Admittedly with the shite we get here you have to eat a bucketload.

When we go to Cyprus, Mrs TB likes to go to the famous lace village, Lefkara, to buy some ol' tut. As I have to drive her, but have no interest in lace, I normally sit in the bar/cafe overlooking the carpark drinking orange juice (and bro and I have drunk them dry of oranges, apparently it takes about 6 oranges to get a pint), and then end up breaking the speed limits to get home (no service stations on Cypriot motorways for emergency "sit downs") ;D.  Every bloody year this happens, you'd think I'd learn, but it's awfully nice orange juice.

I was most of it, but did stumble down when she got home from work, just for company. Even if I was mostly asleep
