No error code showing on two readers will try and get a crank sensor today and go from there.

Do the GM supplied ones have GM on them as well as bosch then ?

As I don't have another as a spare i will get a GM one ASAP to put in the boot for emergency use
All V6 owners should carry a spare at all times ;D.

As to GM, no idea, not looked that close. However, GM will buy direct from Bosch, so little chance of intermediate wholesalers using a "cheaper source".  To give you some idea of the level of fakes (generally, not just car parts), there was a report a year or so ago that something like 90-95% of branded items on egay were fake.

Oh, and the part number taxi al gave earlier is the correct one for a 3.2. EPC is often wrong on cranksensors if the dealer enables filtering

Sensor changed and running okay but have to admit a bit nervous as only done 20 miles so far, there's a 02 omega up the road for a grand tempted to buy as backup plan..lol
