I'm with Stemo and Fry, not to mention Richard Dawkins. The amount of slaughter over the centuries that has occurred in the name of "religion" beggars belief. It is all a huge con, or as, was it Oscar, said, "the opiate of the masses." >:( >:( >:(

The Human Individual is the worst Animal on Earth.
Allways out for there own Good.
from being Selfish, to Money and Goods, Water and Foot, Hate of others invading there Space, killing for having what others own.
Dont matter what the excuses are.
today is called Religion because everything else is not allowed to use because a Goverment said this is not nice.

Fact:
you never get all people together and everybody loves the other.
would be easier if Goverment stop making rules of wars, and decide for people who they have to like.
at least the cheap excuse of religion would be gone.

i can wait untill Humans starting this religion hunt again official like humans did in the past.

me personal - i don't care what religion people believe in, leave me alone with it, otherwise i give them some religion in there face.
i don't want to hear anything about it.
you can be muslim, jewish, budda, or whatever, do what you want, at  home behind closed doors and don't tell me about it, and do not await from me to believe in it or accept yours.

Me,
i don't go to any church, or preach or even have a picture of any so called good.
never meet on so far.

my religion is myself, my family, my property, and what I believe is good for me.
anybody invading this with some ideas of any rules and regulations of a religion written in a book invades my personality and this makes a problem for them.

i don't really care what's written in an dusty old book by someone i never meet in flesh.

I think you'll find that arguing over food/water/space is a natural condition of anything vegetable or animal rather than a human behaviour  ::)

What separates us from the rest is opposing thumbs and all the baggage we attach to our lives... :y

God exists and created us to live our lives in this one big test which is life, which will be followed by various plains of existence.

Humans invented organised, oppressive, dangerous, and enslaving religion for political gain. We are all very young children of the Universe and we will learn everything eventually.

The so called Jihadists are living out some form of basic, medieval , existence which has no basis in either 21st century Islam, Christianity, or secular life, and they are only living to kill and hate those who do not agree with them.

God forgive them as Hell will be their end. >:( >:(

 ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D Sorry Lizzie, it's the way you tell 'em.
Religion is supposed to be religion and the fact that you say '21st century religion' just proves to me how people twist it to suit themselves.
Homosexuality is not allowed from what I understand the bible to say. But, hey, it's the 21st century, we can ignore that. And lots of other things too, or else we won't have any sort of congregation at all. That would never do, the church could go skint. So lets just pick the bits we like and ignore the bits we don't. After all its all down to interpretation, isn't it?.
No. It's all bollix, actually.

Oh for God's sake, get a grip man!  ::)  ;D
Which god? There are many of them, and each one is the only one.

I don't mind there being multiple gods, its the brand wars and my turf battles that I hate. The worst two religions for this are the Islamic and Christian religions. In comparison most other religions are reasonably benign.

If you really want to know scientifically where we come from watch this video:

So there is only one god, our creator, and human scientists have named him 'big bang' where it brought the universe and through multiple star cycles, creating the higher chemical elements, eventually us into existence.

No.  What I said was "has no basis in either 21st century Islam, Christianity, or secular life"; in others words whether you are religious or not it is the 21st century has no room for medieval style Jihadists. Steve, you missed that one didn't you!

Also "It's all bollix" is your opinion, which you are perfectly entitled to, but you are wrong when it comes to the existence of God and the afterlife.  Organised religion as such may be misguided in the way it is conducted, and it has committed grave crimes in history, but billions believe in it and so be it!I may not go along with that method of worship, but I respect those that do. Only those who follow attitudes of 500 years ago would deny their right to do so.

Joke as much as you like, but we will all die; what happens then is your personal belief, but do not mock those like me who believe in "going on".

Yes, and even Albert Einstein believed most firmly in God the creator.  :y

One can either believe in Darwin's theory of evolution, or the Bible's Garden of Eden fairy tale, but not both. :y
