Assuming not a wiring problem of course.

Forgive me if I've got this wrong. But. . .

I would be doing what Al said in the first post before touching your O2 sensors. I.e. Look in to misfiring cis if it's dumping fuel in and there's no spark, the O2 sensor will pick that up as a too rich code.

Just my initial thoughts and again, sorry if that's wrong.  . . . Don't want to incur dtm's wrath again  ;D :-[

I've yet to come to a 3.2 Ecu on a new to me car, that didn't have a historic miss fire code in there somewhere. It's not showing a misfire on the second reading by all accounts. So codes cleared and what's returned...?

Present O2 sensor. Present fuel trim. All bank 1.

As said ignore 0420 0430 as normal for now. But the pre cat brings the light on hiding everything else to the driver. Fuel trim would be good to check  on live data as if it's over +/-25 then it will struggle to run.

Er well no it's not been expressed, but the codes aren't present in the second list.

Just checking I'm correct here bank 1 sensor 1 would be the pre cat sensor from cylinders 1, 3 and 5? Am I right?
