MV6 spec

What is MVC spec? Is it top of the range? There is an MVC 3.o manual estate on e-bay I am watching
, but am uncertain of it.

Bucket seats - cloth or leather. Slightly lowered suspension,no air suspension, no memory seats, usually no satnav. Mechanically the same as other V6 engine cars. A pointless addition to the Omega range in my opinion.

Factory fit was pretty much CDX spec with 2.5/2.6 or 3.0/3.2, Sports Seats, rear Spoiler, 17" Alloys, HID's. Stiffer Suspension, and on the FL Prodrive front bumper and lowered height ride.

MV6 as in Plod flavor was standard GLS spec, 3.0, HID's, Stiffer / Stronger Suspension (not lowered) and probably had LSD fitted.

If it's the rare silver 3.0L Manuel in kings Lynn, then that is the correct spec,
Cloth recaro interior, 20% uprated and lower springs, otherwise same as all other 3.0L only thing wrong is it has 3 pedals  ;D

Why just put your bid in and leave it at that. ???

Ignoring Plod base spec, and assuming UK spec (Euro MV6 spec is often top of the range)

PFL - N/A
MFL - MFL CDX spec, minus cruise, adding HIDs, larger wheels, sports seats, rear spoiler
FL - FL CD spec, adding HIDs, larger wheels, 15mm lowered, restyled front bumper, rear spoiler, sports seats

That actually sounds pretty good to me; the only Elite thing I'd miss is the sunroof

Sunroof was optional factory fit, so some, not many, do have sunroof.  ;)

Thank you gentlemen. As biggriffin imagined, I am looking at the e-bay Kings Lynn car. Current bid is £330, but its MOT expires today. Also Kings Lynn is 200 miles or 6 hours by rail away. As you may know, my son's 2.2 was rammed from behind while stationary on the M32, so I am looking to replace it.

Nope, same ECUs with same tune
Could the perceived difference simply be that the gearbox, and possibly the engine ecu, adapt to the way a particular car is driven :-\

Harder driven Omegas do seem to go better than gently driven ones...
